The Beginning of Dracula

Vlad Dracul was a very bad person. For you to get an idea of what he did, in St. Bartholomew's Day 1459, Vlad had impaled the majority of the Saxons of Brasov, Transylvania region who had rebelled against him to support the pretender Dan II, along with unfair Hungarians and Romanians. Then organized a feast in the middle of what he called "Forest of the Impaler". This peculiar "Forest" was a valley where he had cut down all the trees to get enough stakes where more than 23,000 people were impaled. Men, women and hundreds of children were there, impaled.

He drank blood of his victims too. During all his life he killed more than 63,000 people, betwen them a lot of children and babies.

His sadistic personality inspirated Bram Stoker who took him as a model for his novel Dracula, made in 1897.

A lot of actors were made famous by Vampires films, Like Christopher Lee because he made a lot of films about that genre.

And in the actually Robert Pattinson, made famous for his roll of Edward Cullen in Twilight.

Legends

There is a religious legend that says:

Jesus make a curse on Judas, the person who lies Jesus for the romans to kill him. For this reason Jesus made a curse on him saying that he'll become a vampire. Judas killed himself hanged in a tree, so the only way you can kill vampires is with silevr bullets, because Judas lied Jesus for 30 silver coins. And the other way is put a stake in the middle of vampire heart, a stake of wood like the wood of the tree.

A lot of writters and direcors of cinema had chosen the vampires genre.

Writters like Bram Stoekr with Dracula or Stephany Meyer with the best seller Twilight and its saga had bring vampires to our lifes.

And films too, like Twilight film versions, UnderWorld, Blood Suckers, Van Helsing, Blade...

And Sitcomes like MoonLight and True Blood.

And Animes like Blood: The Last Vampire, Vampire Knight or Vampire Hunter D.

A Vampire is a mithological character, a monster that survive drinking human blood. A human become a vampire when its bit by one then you can live forever if somebody don't kill you. They have different characteristics like they:

- Aren't reflected in the mirrors and have no shadow.

- Sleep in coffins.

- Can't breathe, eat, drink or other things related to life.
